Vintage Chandelier Dresses Up Sweet Southern Porch

The word “chandelier” may intimidate some who think the fixture belongs only in stately, ornate entryways or in dining rooms with over-dressed, Downton Abbey types sitting round the table. Not so! With vintage industrial pieces popping up all over the place from farmhouses to downtown lofts, it was only a matter of time before chandeliers took a rustic turn.

We love this simple and sleek chandelier that has found a home on a screened-in porch. While charming by day, this fixture would provide plenty of illumination over card games, conversation, and mint juleps on a hot summer night. This chandelier is similar to our Mystic Seaport Chandelier, part of our collection of Vintage Chandeliers. The Mystic Seaport Chandelier is an American made beauty featuring six candelabra sockets. Measuring 23″ wide by 23″ high, this fixture could become the focal point of your living room, dining room, kitchen, even a bathroom! This light is available in five traditional finish options including raw brass, antique brass, and verdi gris.

Prefer something a bit more on the rustic side? Don’t miss the Outer Banks Chandelier which features rustic touches of metal and natural rope that hint of nautical design. Available in four sizes from 25″ wide to a 32″ stacked, double version, the Outer Banks Chandelier will not only provide plenty of light to your space but be a conversation starter as well. Finished in a classic Shipyard Bronze and chain hung, this light comes ready to hang — light bulbs included!

And don’t forget, there are only a few days left to enter our annual B.L.O.G. online giveaway!
