Vintage Copper Pendants | Guaranteed American Quality

Occasionally a country cabin can be brought into a creative light when marble and wood is replaced with Tuscan tiles and tropical colors. Overall, this eat-in kitchen would generally be regarded as rustic and provincial, but we can’t help but zero in on the fun, vibrant elements that make this room unique.

Full of a variety of woods, the spacious kitchen is packed with textures unique to country homes. My eye immediately darts to the green hood and cobalt blue appliances. Check out the size of that breakfast bar on the edge of the island too – it’s even large enough for the Duggar family! The kitchen island is a key piece, especially in a vacation home or around the holidays. Occasional snacking becomes more frequent, so between the spacious prep areas and built-in buffet along the back wall, there is plenty of space to serve finger foods and warm apple cider. Trust us, everyone from your little ones to the man of the house will appreciate it, especially when the turkey and ham are taking a little bit longer than expected.

One of the things we noticed that isn’t quite unique to the rustic atmosphere are the copper pendants over the island. Similar to the Barn Light Bandera Pendant, the ceiling lights have a slightly flared bell shape, a distinctive feature on vintage barn lighting. The Bandera Pendant has a layered neck allowing  your glass choice to give off a decorative shine onto surrounding walls. Your glass choices can range from simple clear glass, to frosted, ribbed or antique-like amber crackle. While choosing the Bandera in an authentic copper finish can be a little pricier than others, it’s really a small price to pay for a quality, American made light fixture that looks great and lasts for years!
