Style Me Sunday: Southwestern Style Interior Decor

Last Style Me Sunday we focused on one of our favorite Southeastern city’s Southern Gothic styles. Now we’re turning our attention out west. Elements like warm copper, weathered wood, and hand woven textiles are going to make a big impact on fall styles. Now, before you deck your home out with vibrant decor from your favorite Taco-shack, remember: It’s good to start small and infuse a new infuse a new trend instead of overwhelming your space. Select fine quality pieces, that will make the transition from season to season. We’re veering away from the beach and embracing the summer heat with Arizona flair!

  • Mixed metal accents are taking center stage and we’ve got the perfect solution for those of you who want to explore the trend with functional home decor. • We were smitten when we saw these Salvaged Wood Air Plant Holders! They celebrate two of our favorite fall trends: raw wood and air-plants! This no-fuss look is perfect for botanical lovers who live in dry climates.
  • Hand-crafted details and geometric patterns on Southwestern and Turkish rugs add a touch of old world craftsmanship to your interior design. This Vintage Southwestern Handwoven Wool Rug makes a gorgeous accent for any space — from rustic lodge to eclectic loft!
  • Daniel Henkel’s industrial New York loft mixes wood textures with a stark color palette, and we love it! The marriage of understated furniture and barn-style wall sconces allow the architectural details like wood floors, floating staircases and indoor-window frames really shine. • Warm hues like orange, red and copper are the colors of fall… but we can’t resist this retro-red Dansk Kobenstyle Dutch oven year-round. Its top cross-handles turn into a nifty trivet, a practical detail that is on point with this fall’s desire for utility and design.
