Porcelain barn lights have been around for nearly 100 years. Traditional porcelain enamel warehouse shades were designed to largely illuminate industrial factories, warehouses and assembly lines during the early 20th century. As the years went on, buildings were torn down and strict Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations eventually forced many porcelain enamel lighting companies to stop production. Any remaining lights that were salvaged or restored are commonly known today as Vintage Barn Lights. Vintage barn lighting is highly popular today when decorating modern lofts and homes with industrial farmhouse themes. While their look is classic, simple and traditional, vintage lights can occasionally come at a high cost – that’s where we come in!

Barn Light Electric offers a full line of reproduction, vintage inspired porcelain enamel lighting that is an affordable, modern day alternative to original vintage barn lights. They come in numerous styles, sizes and mounting options to let you fully customize a barn light for your home or business. Our wide range of traditional, yet contemporary finish options allow you to coordinate with your interior or exterior design scheme! These classic barn lights are American made, CSA Listed and are 100% exclusive to us – you won’t find them anywhere else!

With multiple mounting options available, you can select porcelain enamel barn lighting for any location. Goodrich™ gooseneck lights take traditional warehouse shade designs and place them on a gooseneck arm. Gooseneck barn lights were often times found illuminating gas stations, machine shops and early American barns. Gooseneck arms comes in many shapes and sizes with their ultimate purpose being to extend the shade away from the wall or vertical mounting surface.

For ceiling mounting options, Barn Light Electric offers both Benjamin™ stem mount and Ivanhoe™ cord hung pendants. Both styles utilize the same shade designs as Goodrich™, but allow for use as overhead lighting when placed above kitchen islands, dining room tables, entryways, or retail showrooms. You can choose what mounting option works best for you – stem mount pendants can be used outdoors on say, your front porch, while cloth cord pendants are perfect for accenting above interior tables or work surfaces.
